Well they took the bottle placed it in his hand

Take a good swig you are now a man

As the water came and the death bell rang

He had remembered his father called him a man

There were at least 100 no more than fifteen

As they charged his position he could them scream

Death it has no answer like children dead

And the final bullet  was all they said

Waking in the morning in place unknown

A thousand miles from nowhere

This will be his home

Rout and fever keep him at bay

Doctors tell him someday again he will play

As they pass the bottle in brown bag

A face of truth lay cold in the day

Shadows dance upon his dawn

100 faces how could he be so wrong

Well they took the bottle placed it in his hand

Take a good swig you are now a man

As the water came and the death bell rang

He had remembered his father called him a man
