Truth lives on in memories

In a tavern on the wrong side of the tracks my baby looks at me
Never intending to look back, whirl of skirts blond hair and hurt
Sure can bend a man around. Nothing like cry of the blues coming down
To stop a midnight train. I just wish there was time for another round

It is a cold finger of fate as the mind it goes on its way
In the wild of believing

I just run the way
And the finding of time measures all the wine
She ever knew

Heart and soul gives way to the living free
Non-respective of me
She tasked the last of
Bottle full

As we stroll
Among the sun of real beauty

Every kiss comes undone
Got togged out from the cold
Yet into the wild of every cry

Kick up the pieces that I find
She was the answer to my dream
I was the reason from her mind
Couple laid in the shade of pilot lit

I held her the wilderness
Of passion and kiss

As real as the feel of skin to mine
We passed the county line
Silver hair undone

And wild eyes there
Cannot help but feel the pain
River road never unloads
As the thrill kindly stops

In the pitch of hope and find
Travelers in tree trunks

Pass the new bottle of kind
Coming down like rain found
In ribbon of sky every kind of faith

Turns to a lie
Rest in confess to the life
Of the road so cruel and true
Just a hand me down

From the sound
And I knew

You was the asking
Son of all we pay
Rotten to the core

Dollar down
Fifty more to settle the score
West of east
North headed south

Eyes flies into the fear of doubt
She and me

Take the upper path
As music streams
In the want of bath

Sweet body held in mine
Every kiss on the lips
Cushion of velvet find
Rest in best final tease

Eye is the mild side of free
Train came to take us back

Every candle burned brought
As the night wind found
A banshee keeping time

Coach of smoke fades to
Dreams of yesterday
Angle a tribute loaned in the
New mowed hay

Craft in sass as the tongue seeks the news
Groove of love turns hate into blues

Want is a place
Reviewed by quite a few
And the gullet of a scream

Makes way for the evening news
Maybe a treasure for the writers gone to stay
Letter falls into the book
Cost too much to give away

Else is burden proof as axiom dies
Lies of trying real heed find their way

To babies cry
Never had a room to keep
Lady pulls silk cord

Sleep sweet dreams
Momma dazed by burning lights
As the body rises above all the fathers
Midnight sighs

Come again and join the wind
Let the wilderness seek eh soul

Taking back a start again
Never found the lasting sound
But a steel guitar plays

In perfect harmony with a silver voice we see
Every son got his radio
Just go to play the show
Linger a while in her fading smile

Take the glow
On home

As the music stops
Hope leads
And the world

Passes on by
Come on baby its
Okay to cry

Little bit of come again
Silence of a friend
Turning on to now
Calf laid in the shade

Of grass smoked
On time

Just a lasting find
Reasons for troubled mind
Walk a road dead and closed

Hell in mends stops again
Trash of night
Burns the candlewick
Slick as last time

In a tavern on the wrong side of the tracks by baby looks at me
Never intending to look back, whirl of skirts blond hair and hurt
Sure can bend a man around. Nothing like cry of the blues coming down
To stop a midnight train. I just wish there was time for another round
