A poet's brew

Old Billy Wordsworth touched my hand, like this, in even strokes with words neither hard nor soft, just burdens released into the page, bring life and death, cast the spell

Never let the reader see past the next verse keep the mind active, simple words with

Expectations never met

Castle cold brings forth age crying for the love held hard against my soul left on the altar of shadows sing songs to the stein waiting and calling me home

Hour you come for the wine let so much in more

Sound breaks in hear after as the hole in ground

Rohr Eldora rips hard in wept tides waiting by her shore

Hour slips to a lesson in core of bending pride is fen

Pen stands strong against bleeding finding bower

Dower in heat seeks she as many men take her

Wind riffles in greed to be the answer in whom

Tomb seeks a fill to meet a new holder to find

Mind pleads so all the dreams fade to lost power

Hour it comes in the darkness of every woman blind

Return you to the bottom in heat she stands and ready bore

Forlorn as the chest game of lover is cast to the dogs forever more

Unborn the lies thus she lays before altar to restore

It was in the meadow of youth, I sought the reason she gave and never saw the truth

So if you are wandering by, bend with the trees and listen to the wind as it lies

Every lilac tells it’s tale and the wild-eyed lovers come and watch the bellies swell
