Busy days, run, run ....

Time like a clock
wound too tight
screams out notes
in the middle of the night

Working on the sound
I hear it all day long
don't know what's right
clock keeps ticking
through out the night

Sometimes it brings
me fear and fright
sometimes just
another beer
to say good night

Clock keeps ticking
on the wall
when you are young
times seems to crawl

Now that I am old
it's way too fast
can't wait until
I breathe my last
