Christmas magic

There is a certain joy
That fills our hearts
As the weather turns colder
The Christmas seasons starts

Almost as if we know
it is time to
live our life more joyfully
It is the need in each
to stop and see

The glory of living
The beauty of the tree
Like life eternal
We find a spot right here

It is in the window
of our umpteenth year
Passing people stop and say hello
The kid toting the knife
Lets his anger go

Streets are filled with caring
In the air a touch of snow
The Christmas season
Finds a way to allow man

To be a little better everyday
Some say it should be like this
all year long
I just say I am happy that
it seems to come along

Take the joy and love
whenever it finds your door
Be great full for what you have
Wish but don’t ask for more.
