That "pick, pick, picking" is so onomatapaeic (sp!!!!!) as to be prick, prick, pricking... Many are unable to cope with unconditional love and to distrust it's appearance, looking for ulterior motives. A very strong title to this poem which adds significantly to it's meaning and interpretation. I salute you for this: good titles are hard to come by. Reminds me of the personage of The Christ, somehow. Strong work, Gwendolyn. TY Kate xx

It is often sad Gwen when people cannot accept love in it's simplest form and must tear down and destroy what they really seek. Well done.
