Self Reflection and Connection

Connecting to self and taking personal responsibility for one's experiences as they are one's own creations.

There was a time when I wondered what I was missing as I stood on the outside of my very own perception – on the outside looking in.

Memories flooded my vision and all that was left were agonizing questions – a toxic cycle that had no end.

One day as I was standing on the other side of the fogged glass that clouded my reflection, a deep voice echoed in my ear – as if there was another being standing near.

“Now is the time to quiet your mind and allow the illusions of life to disappear.” He calmly whispered as his voice matched the howls of the wind. But the message was loud and clear.

“Hold still and steady. Let the world move around you as the door opens to your true reality.”

The art of deception is a slate that can be wiped clean but first you have to strip away all influenced beliefs.

“Can you see?”

The pace of the busy streets did not change but the fog lifted and I could see myself more clearly.

His voice softened. “Illusions fade as you set your gaze on the simplicity of your very own being.”

I could literally touch the connection and see the reflection of my energy.

“Start from the inside and work your way out. You'll soon realize the journey you seek resides within. The cleansing can now begin.”

My aura began its own healing.

“As your spirit mends and the mask of your truth is lifted, your vibrations will touch all things.”

As he faded into the calming wind, he left me with the light of purity.

“Here you are child… You have come so far. Just be!”
