Harvest time is when we reap what was sown
The fruit and veg through the year has grown
And now its time to bring it all home
To thank the lord for the love he has shown

God sends us all his sunshine and rain
God sends us all the joy and pain
And when we trust home for our every need
It produces good from every seed

So at this special time of year
When we think of the people that are dear
Of all the things we have learnt and shared
We thank the lord for always being near

So as we celebrate the good harvest time
With all the fruit, veg. and wine
Let us as well give thanks for gods children
Who will be willing to work in the fields of life

The people who are willing to work
To take the gospel into all the world
To harvest all the people that are lost
Are we in the end prepared to pay the cost?
