AN ISLAND UNTO MYSELF Do you ever feel alone? No one listens to you. No one understands your problems. Thoughts rumble through your brain but you have no one to share them with. I might as well be on a desert island with only water around me for miles. A desert island all to myself.

A palm reader once told me I need my alone time. This is true, but I also need people time. Hopefully, we can all avoid desert islands.

I'm very comfortable alone. But there are times when I would be nice to be able to have a pleasant conversation over mutual ideas that I rarely get except in exchanges with other authors.

Sometimes being alone can be a blessing. Let me see: I am on a desert island, I don't have to worry about other peoples problems, I don't want anyone to understand my problems, just solve them myself. John
