SUSANNE, I LOVED THIS FINE 'SKETCH' OF LIFE. WE ARE BORN AND IMMEDIATELY BEGIN OUR JOURNEY, ON VARIED ROADS, TOWARDS OUR DESTINATION. AND NO MATTER WHERE WE ARE LOCATED ON THIS EARTH THE DESTINATION IS THE SAME, IT IS THE FINAL STOP...FOR US ALL. WELL DONE, THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
Ahhhh . . . "The Road Taken," indeed. I've taken many, many roads to arrive at the one I am on presently. Only one more road I need to travel and that is the "Time served" thoroughfare.
A road trip poem taking us to stations
of the gross. Lonesome highways overlooked
by bob dylan, meadows where poets catch
awful rhymes in cloudy jam jars
neon-lit country music bars, Willie Nelson's
not on tonight. We have bluegrass and Tex-Mex
tales of the southwest, and an Englishman
called Bowie whose cutting up newspapers
and getting a lot of milk and writing
weird limey verse.
The cactus men stand proud in the desert.
I hope we make a stop at D.H. Lawrence's
old ranch in Taos, is this the panhandle?
Flint Ridge, Arkansas, I guess!
Soon be in Oklahoma. It's kinda red.
Love ya!
Jane
Ron
is knowing how to end it. A good ending is
a teaching moment. Like yours. Bravo!
