i'm a fender bender...

blues 'n' rock 'n' roll
......

aint gonna apologise
no sense in even tryin
aint gonna regret
for not dyin’

for some long gone guy.....

jus’ want to rock on
jus’ play the same old chords
jus’ drive the same
old beat up fords

i’m just an old grasshopper.....

twelve bar blues i’m fine
with..any day
old blue hound baying she
howls ..when i play

i rub her ear.....

brownie.. wish i could
slyde lyke..you
sonny..your harp
sure can paint blue

on my canvasssssss.....es

now i fret my 12 string neck
in odd yankscot voice
and sing sad blue tales
of my sad blue choice

its friday night...

lets boogie on again fingerpicking
lets rock on bluesy
lets throw lyfes gone by to the wynd
lets show luve to the floosy

who smiles at me

in this bad bar of ill repute
patrons pay their price
to dull-eye my gutsy
riff..they snort the toss o’ cocaine dice

my e-string cries for them

so i’m rocking on
so i’m an old gut wi’ a guitar
so i’m a senior
with an attitude.. so far

i’ve rocked and rolled

for years .....

You know all the while I was reading this, I could hardly pay attention to the words because all I could think was of how badly I wanted to hear the music that must surely go along with this.

Doesnt matter the age or the gut or anything, as long as you can rock with a blues riff, you are okay in my book... Peace, Ed & Rufuz

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
