Boogie woogie Pete

I sing the blues.. now and again for a man... who once sang, to me now and again... the blues... Boogie woogie Pete was my name for him. Fats Broon who sang the hot jazz...... in our nor-east cold white ghetto.. Drums are what he played as a back-up belt earning extra coppers...but lights down on new years eve..then... blasphemous boogie... Those twelve bar blues on the ivories.. his Scot voice..suddenly americanised.. st louis blues... as blue as he could be. Death is sure a comfort for the accused.. blue was the colour of my boogy pete, in the morning, when they found, in the morning when they found when they found... Boogie Pete.. Graham..2004

Hi Graham,
just managed to grab a few moment on the computer,
tell you what I know that feeling well.
I think it is the Bushmill's that does it.
But I must admit St Louis is a great Town,
they even have Highland Games there.

That makes me sad but I can picture the playing. Makes me think of Bealle St. in Memphis, Tennessee. Good poem.
