Let me tell you about Kathleen.....

She lives on the Hill...

She is the maist independent lass
o’ independent means,
she has gift ...
rewarded me
wi’ the vigour o’ jumpin’ beans...

She is the candle o’ my smile
she is my memorie’s licht,
she maks me laugh and oft greet
she’s niver oot o’ sicht..

I loo the very thocht o’ her,
her smiling countenance,
the nichts o’ breathless loving
in the heat o’ loo’s entrance...
...............

We niver agreed on onything
except oor different opinions.
I once insulted her lack o’ ken....
she returned my insult
with the softness
o’ her kiss...
..........

Why did i ever gang awa
why did i ever leave
the lass wha meant sae much tae me
an’ noo i live tae grieve..
for the tymes i kissed her naked toe
an’ sighed between her breasts
an’ held her strang, in loves embrace,
in peak o’ loving’s crest...

I feel her still upon my eyes
i see her in my touch
i'll blindly gae tae heavens gate
for loving her sae much...

She is a million miles awa
in distance and in years,
she stands noo, very close tae me
and kisses my falling tears.

She holds me close in her embrace
in my celibacy bed,
she giggles and she teases me
aboot the lyfe we led....
when i was iver sae much in luve..
but niver did i ken
the deil within ....called me awa....

i’m the stupidest o’ men.....

My Kathleen still lives on the hill...

Graham..
