I was taught to see...
It was meant to be...
my fate..
The Otherworld...
.........
My Grannie it was, who told to me
that I would see what I should see
she taught me well upon her knee
'bout things unseen...
and hugging me in her ample bosums,
I took a tipple
from the nipple
and drowned in wisdom..
My Grannie it was, who stoked the fyre
o’ my all-consuming dark desire
to feel the heat o’ funeral pyre
and go beyond...
and hugging me in her ample bosums
I took the match
gave it a scratch
and burned with passion...
My Grannie it was, who taught me much
but just to look and never touch
and only if...I were granted such
an invitation...
and hugging me in her ample bosums,
I took the bait
and sealed my fate
and tasted power.
My Grannie it was who taught me well
to weave the majick silent spell
to make the tolling funeral bell
ring...at my command...
and hugging me in her ample bosums,
I took the quest
now... know no rest
and never sleep.
My Grannie it was, led me astray
to walk forever amongst the fey
and never know the light o’ day...
in darkness..I do dwell....
