singing in tyme
on a holy sun-day
kneeling in pew
to piously pray

faith is for faithful
that’s something you ain’t
love from your lips
that you easily taint

hope is the offer
you give to the whore
used and rejected
as often before

charity knows no
place in your heart
no payment of bonus
to oft ridden tart

look in the mirror
and who do you see
reflection of horror
me looking at me.
