i need the callous feel o’pain
i need the pour o’outward rain
upon my stagnant soul...
i need the taste
o’ nectar frae the
sweetness o’ a whole
lot o’ loving.........
I wish i was in luve
i wish for stars abuve
i wish for turtle doves
to fly aboon....
i wish the look
frae syde lang glance
o’ flirtation
to tease me.......
Jist for a’while langer
let me dream
let me scheme
let me wander
i need tae remember
the excitement
afore this dying ember
dies...
