my night of darkness
head in swaddling pain
writhing in doubt
sitting here
without
my white cane of sanity
groping amongst lost images
feeling the unfilled spaces
searching for
a face
familiar to my smile
stumble I along the
blind man path
to obscurity.

BRILLIANT work, the imagery is excellent..hallmark of a poet!
Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
This collection of poetry addresses the nature of time, reflections on the natural world, the difficulty of loss,
contemporary social issues and gratitude for life.
