Country Mouse
Lady Samantha arrives in her Rolls
The church bell twelve times doth toll
And Jeeves stops outside her stately home
Somewhere where wild animals roam
Jeeves dives to open the door
He’d been trained well before
Lady Samantha steps out
She’d been on the town and about
And into her Home she strolls
Leaving Jeeves to park the Rolls
She clambers up the winding stairs
To find her husband asleep in a chair
The time is right there’s no one around
So she creeps down the stairs making no sound
Her life is so empty without betrothed love
So she makes up by having a secret love
She opens the door so very cautiously
And into the dark night, unable to see
She runs to the back of the house
Quietly, as quiet as a country mouse
An owl hoot she hears three times
She answers back in tempo, in line
The time is so very right
Deep in the dead of the cold, dark night
Lady Samantha beckons her lover
Who’s hiding in the darkness cover
She calls him over from the corner
To come to where it is much warmer
Lady Samantha why do you do so wrong?
Why aren’t you where you really belong?
You don’t realise your husband cares
So your love you feel you must share
And through all your deceit
Your brains hang round your feet
Lady Samantha why do you do so wrong?
Why aren’t you where you really belong?
Lady Samantha is now dead and gone
But her legend lives on and on
For people on their spouses cheat
Isn’t the world full of enough deceit?

Pathos! Agony! A complex maze indeed! From the Freudian couch I salute you! Viva, Andrea and continue to tell it like it is!
Glad that you are now out of hospital.
