For Christmas is drawing near

Remember that my dear

‘Tis the season of good cheer

Be on your best behaviour

Otherwise Santa will not come

For he only rewards the good

Bringing happiness, joy and fun

Be on your best behaviour

As Santa travels on his sleigh

Pulled by faithful reindeer

Presents galore are on their way

Be on you best behaviour

And Santa will fill your sock

After coming down the chimney

No darling..it’s not alright to mock

Be on your best behaviour

And waste not Santa’s time

Remember to put out food and drink

And even a “Thank You” line

Be on your best behaviour

For Christmas is a time of peace

A time when people unite

Short seconds when wars cease

Be on your best behaviour

For Christ would have it so

He brought hope into this world

When he was born this day, long ago
