Walk with me a bit if you would
Because I have a place I’d like
You to see, not unlike the places
I have been with you, those who
Have guided me there in a vessel
Borne on words that were crafted
From open minds and honest hearts.
It is a secret place that I can still
Get lost in, but the exit is always
Easy to find if I write it out quick
Enough, as I do at this very moment,
Here with you, mapping the hidden
Corners with magic keys, each one
Scribed with a mystic letter.
Follow me as I have followed you
And we shall explore this world
Together, a landscape of words not
Yet written, where dreams merge
With shadows to form a cohesion
Of ideas yet unexpressed, fingers
Chanting unformed incantations.
Here is the place I come to when
There is nowhere else to go, a
Garden that is always shifting
Beneath the surface of change,
Ideas reshaped as I am reshaped
By the simple act of living from
One day to the next.
Thank you for walking with me
And for allowing me to walk with
You in the secret places of your
Shadows, dreams, hopes, despairs,
Engraved with keys that resemble
Mine but arranged in different ways,
To weave your magic words.
