Bit of writers block today, but haven't posted anything in three or four days ('cept that collab with Eileen Tiger Lily), so hope this doesn't seem too forced. Does to me.

My heart is a book I choose not to read, no

Not today because something is buried there

In skimmed over pages, some of them blank

Yet those are the pages that haunt me now

Because I see too much in unwritten words

And empty places, the parchments of my life

Where things undone lead to broken plotlines

In later chapters that I know not how to change

And I often lose my place, too many folded

Corners marking too many twists between

Then and now as I jump between them in

An effort to puzzle out a story whose final

Pages have yet to be completed…

END

Is this what writer's block looks like? Hmm, then I wonder what folks complain about so. Looks good to me. :-)

I think we all have those moments when we feel that something sounds like it is forced. For me I have been back and forth writing in some new projects but found out a great source of inspiration for me died last night. So I am dedicating my new book to her.
