Always...from the beginning

God is - I am who always was
Always was - always will be
Before the beginning - the earth without form and void
After the Tribulation - the new kingdom on earth.
Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient - My will be done

My creation crippled by self affliction - consequence of free will
Created in My own image - yet deaf to truth
Adams's perfection snatched by Satan's guile - all humanity the victim
I watch sorrowfully in Devine sadness - Pride and prejudice wrap man's heart
Pernicious, perpetual persecution - what comes out of the mouth defiles

Eight survive My cleansing flood - faithfulness has its rewards
Laughter heard from the netherworld - temporary boasting from darkness
Lucifer's blindness shackles him - believing that I have erred
Dark Angels follow with misguided faith - anchored to the wrong cornerstone
Quavering quips quoted - eternal fires burn in anticipation of the fall

Israel wanders aimlessly in the desert - hand crafted idols their gods
Forty years of pagan partnership - Promised Land kept just out of reach
Fortified by self indulgence and spiritual gluttony - oblivious to My Devine wishes
Unwilling to relinquish their worldly character - My loving cup runnith over
Repetitive revilement reprimanded - a new administration awakens on the horizon

One man walks out of the wilderness - prepared to baptize the incarnate
"It is you who should baptize me." - Love's humility voiced to profound perfection
My spirit hovers with anticipation - "This is My son in whom I am well pleased."
Laughter of the dark one silenced - My light cascades down upon mankind
Spiritual sodality spoken - "I have come not to rule but to serve."

Christ sojourned amongst the hypocrites - sayers of the law
Traded in exchange for Barabbas - spikes of crucifixion driven into flesh
Death's assurance seen through traitorous eyes - "Oh, ye of little faith."
"Know not that I could ask my Father?" - heaven spoke and the temple fell
Theological temerity tendered -"No one gets to the Father but through me."

Man-God rises from the dead - three days of prophecy fulfilled
Empty, stone sepulcher - proof of Devine intervention
Dawn of grace and forgiveness of sins - "I have come that they may have life..."
"I go to be with my Father." - "This is My son in whom I am well pleased."
Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient - I am who always was
