Your intro leads me to believe that perhaps something tragic, perhaps medical, is happening. Anyway your writing is superb and your timing is great. As the others have indicated, there's a lot going on in this poem. 1994? I'm glad that it's posted here now.
Eeva, you did well to not "hide the thoughts you had inside" with this write. I like the idea over and over of movement forward, legs running, moving, reaching, breathing, flowing, laughing, living and lastly " changing" as we must learn to adapt or we indeed come to a standstill. Life always move on , whether we like it or not. Good rhyme too.

I loved this mini rant, Eeva, and the rhyming just set it off. Questions. Doubts. So much to prove? I set about proving things too back in tha day, but I headed in the wrong direction to do it and wasted a life. Please be careful . . . is all I'm sayin'.
