“What is a writer’s block?”




It is not real, but
A figment of the imagination
When you say it, what does it mean
It means, you are not wanting to write what you feel—
What you feel is not conducive to what you desire;
The feelings of ineffectiveness become a fire
It burns because YOU lit it, and YOU keep it burning

Never let your exaltations of some “one”,
Or some “thing”, govern how you speak
Speak—freely express what lives in you
Write … something, and shape the things you write
Into gems … rub them the right way

Breathe new life into the death of your expression
Make your creations know you as their god
Leave them happy to know you are
Interested in their living arrangements
Let them know you love them and that
You are their salvation … always and forever
