The mind and soul
Far out paces the body
But succumbs
At last
To minus energy.
Give your body strength -
Not superficiality -
But power enough
To sustain the light
Of mind and soul
If you would be
And know it
On that high plane
Of being
That shines on earth
Like a living star,
Burning its way
To truth.
The truth
Lies not in
Half full
Or half empty,
It says zero -
Which is both -
Averaged.
i'm a half full person and i live with my sister, who is definately a half empty type...do we cancel one another out...or balance each other? thoughtful piece for sure
