There's a tiny sphere of crystal light On the tip of a twig of the cherry tree Outside my window - The only sparkle There among all those unleafed but poignant trees together. The time is noon; surely then it isn't dew. It has been there an hour, so surely it isn't water. It glistens like a little ball of hope, Yea, even of promise there, for me. Perhaps's it is sap budding ooze Or a bird birthing. I salute to the sun - and me After my erstwhile prayer.
I ran to get my binoculars But, alas, now it is gone.
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
