We haunt ourself's With hair shirt memories; Promises forgot Betrayed procrastination Neglect of good intention. Acid reaction With hasty judgments Flavoring foresight, Wailing hindsight, And we hate ourselves For the ghosts That look us In the mirror And says "Yesterday is gone; Tomorrows too late."

Katy she really had a passionate insight when she wrote her poems.
This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
day.
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
Thank you for offering your mother, Addie's poem. This one is well-written. I think most of us do this - to haunt ourselves.
Your mother has written a wonderful piece.
