Landmarks Of My Heart

On the highways
Of my heart
Are landmarks
And billboards
That mark
A path to you-
Wherever
Whoever you are.
Are you soul mate?
Are you me
Reflected in shadow
Or
Are you God inchoate?



I find bits
And traces of you
That glue
To me
Like magnets
To steel.
I am coming
Ungoverned
At my own pace.
Stay -
Wherever you are
For I will come to you
Or collect the whole of you
In time
If there be enough
To cover the mileage required.
