If I ever knew you personally,
I loved you
And still do
Personally.
Though it did not and does not show
Though you did not and do not know
So
There must be a God.
It is mandatory
For love must be acknowledged.
It is obligatory
If only by Him.
Because love is the soul's rubies
The mandate of yes,
Else all is cherubic
Sentimental hogwash.
And I despise -
If it does not exist -
Forever, all past and future
And damn my birth
Condemned
To awareness
Confined to earth.

When those who came before us leave their words behind, it is like a map to guide us as we go along, if we would allow ourselves to be enlightened from their journals, through their travels, the blossoms they planted, now in bloom beside this common path! (This poem inspired me!)
