Hinged Haiku
Killing in cold blood: Is forgiveness possible? Not without more death - death to bitterness, free from desire for revenge; decision of will - not fuelled by feeling. Grace imparted day by day. Pray for those who weep: Soham's sad children Victims of nine eleven People of Madrid Living through the pain: Troubled peace cannot exist; faith the only cure: "It will be better"; "One day the hurt will be less". Believe pigs will fly

sad the way fundamentalists and extremists kill in the name of religion or independence; sadder still all the oppressive authorities and underprivilege in the world. Poetry can be a salve
and a salvo, too! Nice work!
