As if trying to take its shape
my mind wraps itself around
the warp and weave
of an image on a page
As if trying to kiss its form
my emotion engages
with the sensual beauty
of a thought that is
linguistically expressed

You must be just like the life you are leading here, "passionately absorbed." You couldn't have picked a better poet to read than Debs.
I have witnessed his poetry evovle from the mental mode to a mixture of emotions. Mind and passions. As he moved in this direction he has gotten better and better. Now his heart directs his mind to produce poetry that others love. Stripped of the traps of intellectual imprisonment ... he has shown his true gift of expression. I applaud him and I applaud you for your introspective evaluation of the other poets at the den. You 'rock' girl! You rock! xx Bill
