FAITHFUL
As soaks the rain
through silken sands
As bathes far seas
warm breeze
As velvet gloves
coat supple hands
Love hastens
to my needs
As roaming tides
strange shores
do kiss
But forever
flow back true
As swallows n'er
a summer miss
My love returns
to you
Together twain
we are complete
like sun and moon
make light
Burn bright your fire
to give me days
and I will be
