I'm glad I scrolled down and read that this is not a personal write. I don't understand if this is about a literal diet or an emotional one. Either way, it's a fantastic poem.

Oh Kate, how I emphasize (but then you know that, don't you?)
I loved the way you spelled it out, though, in this clever piece
of writing.
My favorite saying (even though it's hard to remember when I am
in this situation)is:
"When things are this low-down, they can only go UP!"
Hugs to you, dear girl.

The sadness of diets and the "need-to-diet"-thing frustrates me greatly, but this is not a personal write and I am fine!! :))) I'll take the hug, though, Katy, cos they're ALWAYS welcome! Bless you!! LOL Kuddly Kate xx

Four lines... four short, breathtaking, unforgettable, involving, heartbreaking, achingly poetic lines that filled me and will linger.
Kate, you need only pop me a line... I listen as well as blab. As for this piece, academically, it is poetry from the gut... and phrased with amazing originality. Emotions are such triggers, are they not? I'm entirely collapsed by your creativity of word. (I have this need to give you a hug). Please take care. love, katy xox
I'm not dieting, but I take health pills. Miraculously, it works a lot more efficient than any diet pills I had ever taken; and it's all for good health. (I'm not overweight, but just like to keep my size in good health).
