Good Grief, K-K-K-Kate! Yep, you've even stuttered my thoughts here. The first verse, alone, caused me pause and ever the indulging self that I am, I just pondered and gazed at that awhile... then dessert! The rest of this metaphorical wonder embedded itself in my mind... BUT... since I am subject to "senior moments" now and then, I will clear an entire shelf in my library for this fantastic festival of writing. It's my new favorite, to say the least... probably until you write another one. Sigh... You must believe me when I tell you that this poem sits all by itself in my admiration room.
