These are lovely, Kate. I like the form, though Haiku is up for debate since the 5-7-5 that we call haiku doesn't agree with the Japanese thoughts on the subject as English doesn't translate well from Japanese. Lori Moore is very well read on ku so if you want the info, give her a hollar, she will send you the pages where you can easily learn "Moore" than you ever wanted to know about Haiku. ;~) So write the way you want, it is the message moreso than the form that makes for a great poem. This is very nice be it ku or not ku!
