IN TRANSITION


Full of contradictions
I am hard to understand:

What to expect if I am dying?
How to behave while being born?

The Fine Art Of Drowning
is not a spectator sport;
birthing pangs and death throes
confuse
with their lack of definition.

A butterfly's true -coloured wings
emerge damply fragile;
having dissolved their musty covers
they harden to the strength
of burnished bronze...


For you, all this is as interesting
as watching paint dry.

But for me this is the bleeding
water-colour canvas of my life;

My masterpiece:
Prepare for its unveiling.
