LEVANTE BREEZE

From mystic heat
the Levante blows,
caressing while I sleep.

Murmuring of passion
from across the narrow strait,
it licks me round,
beguiling.

Shoulders rising
between my thighs,
my shores are beached
with resuscitating kiss.

Inland I’m awakened,
all senses stirred
and quickened.

Some writers have described El Levante as a 'hot dusty parched wind, fueled by the very furnaces of hell.' I like your version much better!
