... Just got home from shopping to find a poem by my son George on the computer screen... "a flash of inspiration", he says... well, we all know what THAT feels like, don't we?! My 16-yr old puts me to shame! :)) K xx
INNER WHISPER
As
The years rush me by
Leaving
The void of ideas unwritten
Dreams never realised and
Hopes unaccomplished
Throughout the winter
Upon the clammy ocean
The shivering on the frozen
Decks and the
Fearsome
Fire of
Frostbite.
One thing remains
Constant in my heart
The presence of knowing
The power of perception that
I
AM
LOVED
by George Thomas Ivor

I am bloody well FLOORED. Blown away. Totally bug-eyed with awe. This is stunning, an absolutely breathtaking piece of work, Kate.
George Thomas must never stop writing. Never. He must devote his free time in cultivating dynamic works of art such as INNER WHISPER, so that he can feed the spirits of lost souls such as myself.
This young man is priceless. He will go far but only as far as he perseveres, which I hope he continues to do. I'd like to own a few copies of his books one day. Autographed, of course. I knew his mom, after all. <wink>
I can most certainly see where this young man receives his insight, and a love of words and his talent to weave them. You.
by George, that's good! sixteen and he's writing a poem like that... gives me great hope for my own future progeny :) I'd say George has something of your knack for highly unique and creative expression and is great with effective alliteration, too. wonderful! Dawn
In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
