Indulgent?! I'll say! A thinly veiled repost as a Ben&Jerry's substitute, having discovered that what was promised to be nothing more than a "slight nip and tuck" looks today, now the pressure bandage is off, more like a "bloody great bite and tuck". Ah well, at least I know I sleep on the rather plumper breasts and in the arms of angels tonight... !! :)) LOL Kate xx

FEATHERED FRIENDS

Curl me foetal in white feather
of your breath.

Bruise me against the sky
of your lips;
shatter me there as your smile.

Burn me with your eyes of water,
crush me with your heart of flesh.

Take me deep inside, inhale me,
causing quills to quiver.

Let me be the glance of a kiss,
sweet sacrifice of blessing;
for I am to you an offering
and the pulsing beat of wings.

Come to me, carry me;
cover me with a breeze.

See, night creeps in on tiptoes
and now is the time to sleep.

There is such depth and emotion in this, and it affords such a peaceful calm. May the angels lift you to your feet again and have you flying in no time :)

Passion and spirituality combined in a heady elixer. Oh how your words pounce from the page and leave us dazed and dreamy. Beauty!

You are a wise and witty woman and you have a wonderful outlook on life. You are an asset to all who are graced by your presence and by your pen. I can feel the mix of your emotions in this amazing write. You seem to hold nothing back and that within itself is an amazing gift. I am keeping this one, Kate, to remind me that no matter what trials are encountered upon our path, we must maintain our focus on our dreams and place our faith in God that he will always walk beside us.
Take care,
Sherry

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
