Ahhh... now HERE'S one that isn't about Death and Undertakers... though you might begin to wonder... This has lain crumpled at the bottom of my beach bag and is the flow of strange thoughts after a lunchtime beer in tropical heat, peering out at the world from under the brim of a large straw hat and watching strange little geckos shooting in and out of holes in the ground... Far from England, in other words... :)) K xx
SOLAR COMPLEXUS
Ours is a dark space,
a secret crevice sealed
by soft-kissed eyelids,
screened by sun-block skin.
Here we grow unseen,
suspended in womblike sanctuary;
threads of intuition stitch us
soul to soul,
pool of psychic waters
moulding our shape.
Ours is a darkened lake,
a hidden chamber,
silent refuge.
An undetected breeding ground
spawning fresh light.
Your mind heart and soul is a diamond the ever shines upon the truth of life..the depth of your thoughts reaches many points of reference..once more I am left to ponder...
and for that I thank YOU.. Master Poet Kate..
Your work is stupendous..brava!!!
The visuals are erotic in this brilliant poem Kate. A beautifully written subtle piece...

"pool of psychic waters..."
Ever the clever poet. Is this alliteration or is it not... ah, it is and it isn't. See? (smile) But it is pretty on the page, and that is why I keep returning.
With brevity, you breathe across depth and erect visuals, suitable for a banquet of the mind. I got it! (good grief!) katy xoxox
Soothing write and one tht eases me into my midnight prayers. I truly love this world. I feel good tonight. It would seem the light is brighter with the darkness.
Real fine poem.

Splendid writing Kate, it seems like I do some of my best writing on the beach...when I can get there...thoughts flow so differently.
love and peace, Carole
This poem unfolds like the birth of a planet; like a new world being discovered trough the eyes of innocence and a sense of belonging to all that surrounds you. With the new day comes the pristine moments when all of life makes sense somehow, and the mind is free from all fear and negativity. Beautiful, relaxing write, Kate, made me long for the times I have spent hiking alone on an island, discovering not only the seemingly untouched beauty of paradise but also discovering the other, more amazing, aspects of myself. Wonderful!!
Take care,
Sherry
Ah, you went fishing, after all ! ! ! Your compositon is extremely deep and confessional. I tred softly, for fear of disturbing the mood and climate of a special and productive state. You two, semingly, have reached a plateau sought and many, but reached by so very few. Hear! Hear! - Bill

Dear, sweet, lovely Brit!!!
Thank you for your precious note welcoming me back to the DEN.
It is precisely people like you (and you, precisely) that made me come back "home," as you put it.
I simply HAVE TO come to England one of these days and meet you!
Your poem (above) is a scrumptious work of art, too.
This is very deep, very intense, and publically personal. Does that make sense lol.....anyway, thats the vibe I get here.......it's a beginning......like life from the sea.......to see...an evolution of a life. Absolutely dynamite........and so connective......you are a fantastic writer......never stop. Even what you don't show the world...keep penning...and swimming :) pax A
