Eskimos also have no word for 'art' of which this is. Scrimshaw and scotch, whalebone on the rocks, Kate, carve me out a double, I'll whittle away, carving out a soapstone lamp for my love, rub noses at the height of the sawtooth moss wick floating in the melted whale blubber...cathartic scribe, Kate.

Your writing improves with each description you share with us. Love the orginality of this one!
You've left Tink's speechless again Mizz MP LOl, actually this nearly left me the in the same state but I've always got something to say...and er...mmmm...errrr. Eskimo, 'Scotch on the Rocks', slips, gets knocks. Paul, 'Vodka coke',gets drunk, naked in socks, lololol Omg...the thought! eww! Putting that image quickly aside... and in total contrast, this is a wonderfully visual, and superbly expressed gem, it has a comforting effect on me, and makes me want to fall into the softness of the poem...mmmm...No, I haven't been drinking lol! Top Notch! Kate.
Paul;-)

I have watched you grow and become the complete writer in the Den, over the years..
I am impressed with your progress and diligence to the job in hand !
This is a perfect difinition of snow for me with the senses reversed. The duvet is warming, cloud-like and just as snow drifts that they resemble...snow is white. I've tasted it with my tongue, felt it with my nose....extreme.
Oh Sweet Kate this is magical and I do so love the snow, I may grumble if it goes on for too long but to see the purity of that first blanket of snow each winter it is like the world and all that is on it is brand new.
