More than a seed, Dear Kate, you have sprouted and are blossoming.
is this what the seaside residence does to you then? woweeeee... I absolutely adore the sea life imagery and metaphorical meanderings through the body of this poem. Dawn
GASP, Kate, what passion you describe in vivid ... ummmmmmmmmmm... soft erotica! Wowee, I concur with Karen, I need a jump start to me heart!!!!! Very cleverly and beautifully penned; BRAVA!
Kate -
Just between the two of us, I'm not sure what's going on here.
But, I'm having all sorts of fun trying to figure out your birthing.
So far, I have detected an amazing bit of biology and begetting.
But, the filler and the wrapper have been twisting and toiling.
As I said, I'm almost orgasmic and palpitating in my solving it.
I'll get back to you on this, but if you have the rules, please share.
Using an overused word, I am in true AWE at your composing it.

Again and again and again...dear Kate...you leave me breathless
with the wonder of your verse.
"My pink-flesh pickles in a briny night-sky..."
How beautifully Brit that is!
Ah sweet Kate, perhaps that explains our inherited fondness, separated at birth we were both spawned by the ocean...maybe? Anyway another great and wonderful work with such strong images that the brain cannot fathom them quickly but must pause and take in each verse in it's brilliance. Wonderful stuff Sweet Kate.
The songs and art in this book are about our collective emergence after the pandemic and trauma of the last few years - comprised of 5 collections: World as Refuge, Where We Live, In Our Hands, Rhythms of Change and What We See & Sow.
Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
