STOP NEW PARAGRAPH
Question mark.
He starts walking on,
moving ahead like
a long, slow dash.
I pause, then dutifully
trot behind: dot dot dot.
Bubbles hang in the air
empty of speech,
waiting to be punctured
by some awkward
grammar of regret.
Love the visualization that you have transplanted in our minds of the written word as a living breathing thing capable of emotions and feelings. Sweet Kate if these are the fluff then maybe it is time for you to do a book called "Fluff and Stuff. Big hugs sweet Kate.
