Every muscled ridge,
each hollow’s sigh,

all dove-tailing ripples
of hair;

when gone, I’m not left
in cold vacuums of absence:

I mould your perfect image
from warm air.

This reminds me of a face I saw in the sky one summer not so long ago (it was a cloud but clearly a face). Very creative and evocative words, Kate. Love and best wishes,
