So much energy in this poem. I especially liked:
"The last four letters
clasped by dying breath;
what only remains
when nothing’s left."
I've been away so long, now I see many new author names. It was comforting to select yours, Kate. Never disappointed ~~ Diana
Superb wordplay, dazzling language, expertly crafted.
An old, old story, perhaps, but a new and creative rendering
leaving this reader to cry out "more!"
