I tend to have this problem
to shut people out.
I've never been the type to be
the one you hear shout.

I've always had this want
to tell someone how I feel
But an overbearing fear takes over
because part of my soul they will steal.

And I have recently been told
that I need to break my walls down
But how can I possibly do that
when there is no one around.

Some may think I"m over reacting
If so then why don't you care?
You think I just want attention ?
Yeah, maybe I do want someone who is here.

Perhaps one day I'll have
Someone who is here to stay.
Then maybe my overbearing problem
Will slowly fade away.
