What a concept! What a word!
Many meanings when it's heard
Arise in minds- all sublime -
Void, Distance, Place and Time.
We understand? But do we know
It's Real? Imagined? Dark? Aglow?
For eons we have tried to find
Something that's beyond our mind.
Wish my thoughts soar to that place
Where there is no Time or Space
You have described the enigma of space very well. I don't think that outer space is imagined. It's real. But very difficult to really understand, like time, measured from our primitive and minuscule knowledge of what time and space really are, yet.
