I really like this playfully-perfect-posture piece. It earns the saying of it out loud. I just read it to my husband. {and so I can mention in third to last line, the insertion of ‘in’ helps the cadence in reading it out loud} Subject matter REALLY matters, too. You have encapsulated the whole dilemma posed by trying to determine what truth is. There are at least two sides to every issue and many, many arguments. Learned well by those who debate.
There's a little bit of perfectionist in me and a little bit of wild loose conjecture. Perfection in formal pieces of literature is necessary if you're going to be read. But if the subject matter is questioned because there is something wrong, I apologize and try to correct the problem as soon as I can. Trying to be right most of the time, but knowing that I'll be wrong some of the time as should graciously accept it without further argument.
