This is, arguably, the best Christmas poem I've ever read.
I believe that Jesus Christ was a person, like Gandhi, who lived a life that seemed miraculous and was exceedingly kind at a time when his people, the Jews, were in bondage, both by role manned by their own religion, Judaism.
Today is possible to hold those values without blindly believing that Jesus both, rose from the dead and will come back to claim his believers if they just blindly believe.
Too many are giving up on belief in anything other than their selfish survival and what they consider a very dangerous world that they are ready to fight when provoked.
