We hear you rush thru brush and tree
Soothing, gentle, warm or cold
Feel and hear, but cannot hold
No sound or smell but you are there

Where you've been we oft can tell
By fragrance faint or pungent smell
We also hear the sounds you bring
You sometimes roar and often sing
Also different forms you take
Gale or storm- and havoc make
Or at times just simply blow
Carrying clouds, sand , or snow
Each form of you - a different name
No matter what- you are the same
We are thankful you are there
All around us- everywhere!
